1) Mississippi Well Eli
Manning is the starting QB and this team looks to make some moves against some
opponents. The biggest thing is if their offense can score enough points to
cover what their undersized defense gives up. I think they will surprise one or
two teams this year. Mainly I think the reason to watch them is to see what Eli
will do at QB. 2) Penn State Will Joe
Pa get enough wins this year to be the all time winningest coach in Division 1
college football. I think he will keep an eye on the Nittany Lions. 3) Maryland New coach
Ralph Friedgen was an offensive genius while at Georgia Tech. Can he continue
his ways in Maryland. only way to tell is watch. Personally I think it will be
entertaining and I do believe this team might beat almost every spread against
them this year. 4) UCLA The Bruins are
returning an awesome defense with Brian Poli Dixon, DeShaun Foster, and Cory
Paus pnly problem was that the defense was a sieve last year. Can a year of
experience help the defense recover this year to make that potent offense drive
the team to many victories. Keep an
eye on em out there in California. 5) Colorado This team
is a year or two away from greatness but they have been on the right track for
the past few years. Running Back Marcus Houston is back from injury and can make
a big offensive impact. Remember this Colorado team has played Nebraska tight
the past 2 years. They could sneak one in against the Huskers.
